Observe many younger children who have not yet fallen victim to low physical activity lifestyles. Watch them closely and you can tell that the actual word exercise has no real meaning to them. They know the word and in some sense what it means, but it is not something they really comprehend. To them playing and having fun is hugely more important than the exercise feature of physical activity. It is never a chore to them, never a 'workout', always just plain fun... We should take note of this approach. Don't try to exercise just for health, appearance, doctors orders, etc, etc. Have it be an activity you enjoy, something that is fun for you above all else, even if it is not as efficient as the contemporary high tech fitness approaches. How effective is a modern exercise program if you give it up shortly after beginning!
