Observe many younger children who have not yet fallen victim to a lifestyle of minimal physical activity. Watch them closely and you can tell that the actual word exercise has no meaning to them. They know the word and in some sense what it means, but it does not really belong in their world. To them playing and having fun is by far a priority over the exercise part of being active. It is never a chore to them, never a 'workout', always just plain fun... We can learn from this approach. Don't try to exercise just for the sake of health, appearance, doctors orders, etc, etc. Ensure it is an activity you like, something that is fun for you above all else, even if it is not as efficient as the contemporary high tech fitness approaches. What good is an exercise program if you give it up shortly after beginning!
