The inactive habits and diet of most North Americans has forced people to do something to provide their bodies with enough activity to minimize health risks. They know the word and in some sense what it means, but it does not really have a place in their language. To them playing and having fun is by far a priority over the exercise feature of being physically active. It is never a chore to them, never a 'workout', always just plain fun... We can positively benefit from this approach. Don't try to exercise just for the sake of health, appearance, doctors orders, etc, etc. Make sure it is an activity you like to do, something that is fun for you above all else, even if it is not as efficient as todays indepth fitness approaches. How effective is any exercise program if you quit after a few months!
