They know the word and in some sense what it means, but it does not really belong in their vocabulary. To them playing and having fun is way above the exercise feature of physical activity. It is never a chore to them, never a 'workout', always just plain fun... We should learn from this approach. Don't try to exercise only for health, appearance, doctors orders, etc, etc. Ensure that it is something you enjoy, something that is fun for you above all else, even if it is not as efficient as todays adult fitness approaches. What good is a high tech exercise program if you do not follow it!
